Wendy Miles, Partner in our London office, participates in a panel on “A Changing World and Environment in the Middle East and Africa” at a conference on “Casablanca’s Place in a Shifting World: a Rising Arbitration Venue in Greater North West Africa and for South-South Disputes” organized by the Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA) and the Casablanca International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CIMAC).
The panel addresses topics that include the Impact of the Arab revolutions on pending contracts and pending disputes; succession of states/sovereignty: the example of South Sudan; and should people’s increasing demand for greater ethics and transparency apply also to arbitration?
