William Marsillo's main practice area is complex commercial litigation.

Since joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Mr. Marsillo has represented clients in federal and state courts in a variety of matters involving business torts, contract disputes, RICO, securities fraud and other fraud allegations, criminal investigations, intellectual property, and partnership disputes. Among other cases, Mr. Marsillo currently represents the former general partner of a Cayman partnership in a corporate takeover dispute concerning multi-billion dollar Brazilian companies in the telecommunications, infrastructure, and other industries. Mr. Marsillo also represented a cable television provider in complex litigations, which included allegations of securities fraud, RICO, and accountant malpractice arising from a major corporate scandal. In addition, Mr. Marsillo has represented individuals in actions involving business torts, defamation claims, and criminal charges, including as a member of a trial team that won the acquittal of an individual accused of arson and other crimes. Mr. Marsillo also had significant involvement in a trademark infringement action that the firm brought and successfully settled on behalf of a prominent fashion designer.
