Michael Endler's main practice area is complex commercial litigation in a variety of commercial contexts, including antitrust, securities, banking, energy and insurance.

Currently, Mr. Endler represents a group of investors in commercial real estate partnerships with claims against one of nation's largest retail development companies.  He also currently represents one of the defendants in a series of price-fixing cases brought against the major distributors and retailers of compact discs.  Recently he represented the owner of an independent power producer with claims against a public utility, which resulted in a favorable settlement for Mr. Endler's client.  Mr. Endler recently obtained summary judgment against a large international insurer in connection with a business interruption claim, which led to payment of the claim by the insurer.

Before joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in 2000, Mr. Endler was a partner at the law firm of Barrett Gravante Carpinello & Stern LLP.  From 1992 to 1996, he was Special Counsel at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, where he was responsible for oversight of the FDIC/RTC litigation against individuals related to a savings and loans scandal, which resulted in recoveries of over $1 billion to the FDIC/RTC.
