Betsy Turner retired her acting career to go to law school but first worked for two years as a paralegal assistant at Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C. There she assisted at two trials in federal court, a pro bono trial in Maryland State Court and a debarment hearing at the Pentagon.

Ms. Turner is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and she was admitted to practice in New York. Following up on her early exposure to vigorous courtroom proceedings, Ms. Turner has focused her practice on complex commercial litigation. She has worked on trial teams for cases involving antitrust, public utilities, securities, contract, bankruptcy and civil rights issues; along with a broad array of cases that were resolved before they reached trial.

Prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in 2001, Ms. Turner was associated with the law firm of Boies & McInnis LLP.

Ms. Turner maintains her ties to the theatre by serving as an Officer and Director for New York’s Drama League.
