Ann M. Galvani's main practice area is corporate governance reviews and complex litigation, including securities and antitrust litigation.

As the responsible attorney for the corporate review of a major client, Ms. Galvani coordinated the investigation into corporate affairs, the recommendation of corporate reform programs, and the institution of legal actions against former officers and directors accused of wrongdoing.  As part of such reviews, she guides clients through extensive state and federal criminal investigations, investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and other government regulatory agencies, and class action and derivative actions instituted against the firm's corporate clients.

Ms. Galvani has recently been identified as one of the country’s top women lawyers exemplifying excellence, professionalism and wisdom and was profiled in The Vault’s View from the Top:  Advice from Legal Woman Leaders.

Prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Ms. Galvani was a Trustee of Scarsdale, New York and its Deputy Mayor.  She has previously served as executive counsel for a private sector review of New York City's operations conducted under the auspices of the Business Roundtable, as well as the General Counsel of a trading advisory firm, Fixed Income Commodity Advisors.  The breadth of her experience in law, finance, and public policy provides an exceptional background for expeditious response to clients in crisis.

Ms. Galvani was formerly associated with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore and was also General Counsel of the New York State League of Women Voters.
