Robert J. Dwyer's main practice area involves large complex litigation, including antitrust actions.

Before joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in May 2001, Mr. Dwyer had been an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, a founding partner of Davis, Markel, Dwyer & Edwards (now part of Hogan & Hartson LLP) and a partner and member of the Executive Committee of Bryan Cave LLP. At those firms, his practice included antitrust, class action, trade secret, products liability, fraud, contracts, government contracts, patent infringement and tender offer litigation.

From 1992 to 2001, Mr. Dwyer represented the State of Kuwait in the preparation and presentation of more than $100 billion of claims filed by 44 Kuwaiti government organizations against Iraq before the United Nations Compensation Commission ('UNCC') for damage resulting from the Gulf War.

Mr. Dwyer is a member of the Federal Bar Council and was, from 1999 to 2001, a Vice President of the Harvard Law School Association of New York.
