Jonathan Davenport's main practice area is complex commercial litigation.

Mr. Davenport qualified as a solicitor at Lovell White Durrant in London where his practice included banking, international trade, and other complex commercial litigation. In New York, Mr. Davenport was an associate at Whitman, Breed, Abbott & Morgan and Sullivan & Heard, LLP where his practice also included white-collar criminal defense. Since joining the Firm, Mr. Davenport has represented large corporate clients subject to well publicized government investigation and securities class actions; he has also acted for these clients in bringing actions against former management.

Mr. Davenport graduated with honors from the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London, where he received his LL.B, having served in the British armed forces and in the Royal Hong Kong Police.

Mr. Davenport is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and is admitted to practice in New York and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
