Jennifer Altman’s main practice area is complex commercial litigation, emphasizing business torts and securities litigation, intellectual property, accounting liability, physician practice break-ups and shareholder derivative suits, both at the trial and appellate level.

Ms. Altman has represented WellCare, Urban Brands, The DeBartolo Companies, Crescent Heights, Insurance Services Organization, Inc., Petersen Consulting, Chris Carter, South Florida Super Bowl XXXIII Host Committee, the NFL, Grolier International, and the City of Miami Beach, as well as numerous others.

Since 2001, Ms. Altman has been named each year in South Florida’s Legal Guide’s annual “Top Lawyers and Law Firms” issue and was named as one of the “Legal Elite” in the area of Commercial Litigation in Florida Trends “Florida Legal Elite” for 2006. Ms. Altman is also AV™ rated by Martindale Hubble.

A frequent lecturer to professional audiences, Ms. Altman has spoken on such topics as "Commercial Free Speech," "Accounting Liability," "Changes in the Application of Florida law in Accounting Liability Cases," and "How to Deal with the S.O.B. Litigator."
