John La Salle's main practice area is complex commercial litigation.
Since joining the firm in 2007, Mr. La Salle has represented a hundred million dollar global investment firm and its CEO in a derivative shareholder suit. He has also represented a world class sailing team in asserting breach of fiduciary duty claims and federal antitrust claims against the current holders of the America's Cup.
Mr. La Salle graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. La Salle received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He served as a Notes Editor for the Virginia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
