Stephen Bourtin's main practice area is complex commercial litigation.

Before joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Mr. Bourtin was associated with the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, where he practiced in their Labor and Employment Law Department.

Mr. Bourtin earned a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Boston College in 1996. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2000 where he served as Executive Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. Mr. Bourtin served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard W. Vollmer, Jr. on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama from 2000 to 2001.
