Lauren Newell is an associate in the firm's Corporate Group. Her main practice areas include corporate governance, private equity investments, executive compensation and employee benefits, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate advice to publicly and privately held corporations, including clients in the media and entertainment sectors.
In 2007, Ms. Newell graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, Ms. Newell focused her studies on negotiation theory and techniques, as part of which she conducted a conflict assessment for the United Nations Compensation Commission's Remedial Follow-Up Program. Ms. Newell graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University in 2004 with a B.A. in English and a double minor in psychology and Italian.
