Recent transactions for which Mr. Hill has been primarily responsible include: representing an independent power developer in connection with equity and debt financing for the proposed world’s largest wind turbine farm, representing a fund client in connection with the restructuring of loans and derivatives in emerging market countries in Asia and South America, representing fund clients in various seed investments in distressed debt and other new funds, representing clients in various natural resource investments, and advising fund clients on advisor registration and compliance requirements.
Mr. Hill clerked for Judge Karen Nelson Moore of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Hill was associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, and from 2004 to 2005, Mr. Hill was associated with Morgan Stanley. Mr. Hill graduated from Cornell University in 1993 and magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Cornell Law School in 1998.
