Ms. Wentzel is assisting in the firm's representation of: Opportunity Equity Partners Ltd. in connection with disputes pending in the United States district and appellate courts in New York and ICC arbitrations in Paris; Kerzner International, a resort and gaming company and owner of the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island in the Bahamas and the One & Only brand of six-star international resorts, in connection with a trademark dispute involving the Atlantis marks that is pending in federal district court in Nevada; and an international railroad company in a contractual dispute. She is also part of the Boies, Schiller & Flexner team representing the class in lawsuits concerning temperature-affected volumes of motor fuel (gasoline and diesel) sold to consumers by motor fuel retailers involving allegations of consumer fraud and breach of contract.
In the summer of 2005, Ms. Wentzel served as Law Clerk to Senator Russell D. Feingold on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she analyzed the Administration's detention policies, prepared amendments to the Anti-Gang Act, and drafted questions to be asked of Supreme Court Nominee Judge John G. Roberts during his confirmation hearings before the Committee.
Ms. Wenzel also served as an intern in the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York Attorney General's office, where she evaluated the legal underpinnings of suits initiated under the Clean Air Act, and assisted in filing a public nuisance complaint against the five largest power companies in the United States.
