Scott Shuchart's practice focuses on complex litigation. Since joining the firm, Mr. Shuchart has participated in the Starr International Co. v. AIG litigation, as well as the settlement of an SEC complaint against a financial services firm and several insurance disputes.

Mr. Shuchart graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1997 and received a J.D. from the Yale Law School in 2003, where he was Comment Editor of the Yale Law Journal and won the Stephen J. Massey Prize. Mr. Shuchart also holds a B.Phil from Oxford University, where he was awarded a Royal Institute of Philosophy Jacobsen Fellowship and won the John Locke Prize in Mental Philosophy.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shuchart was a law clerk to the Honorable Marsha S. Berzon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and a fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council. Mr. Shuchart's publications include articles on international law, election law, and taxation.
