Javier Angel Reyes received his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Miami, where he was a member of the Law Review.  Before joining Boies, Schiller, & Flexner LLP, Mr. Reyes practiced law at a prominent international law firm in Miami. 

He has litigated cases for numerous Fortune 500 corporations in state and federal court, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations, with a focus on matters related to shareholder and derivative disputes, business relationships, and internal investigations. In addition to working on commercial matters, he represents clients in product liability cases, real estate disputes, probate matters, and foreclosure actions. 

In advising clients on commercial litigation matters, Mr. Reyes draws from his previous experience as a CPA at Deloitte, a multinational accounting firm, where he assisted emerging businesses implement their financial objectives, as well as from his prior experience as an owner and operator of numerous successful businesses involved in advertising, importing, and retail sales. 

Mr. Reyes is actively involved with the Cuban American Bar Association and Miami-Dade County Bar Association, where he serves as co-chairman of the Civil Litigation Committee.  He also serves as a guardian ad litem attorney and has performed pro bono work representing children.
