Since becoming counsel to Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in April 2007, Mr. Klapper has become involved in several significant matters. One involves a possible corporate restructuring. Another commenced litigation involves funding of employee pensions.
Prior thereto, Mr. Klapper was associated with two national law firms. At one, he was part of the lead team for plaintiff in the major commodity trading fraud of the twentieth century (until that time). At the other, he became a recognized securities (10b-5) litigator.
Mr. Klapper began his career with a well known New York litigation law firm. There, he assisted the senior partner in a major criminal trial; and, in another, successfully represented a defendant in a celebrated civil rights/criminal trial of the Sixties.
Mr. Klapper is a published writer of short stories and literary criticism, and the author of two novels. During this period of time, he combined the careers of trial lawyer and writer.
