Rosaline Chan’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.
Since joining the firm in 2008, Ms. Chan has participated in the representation of a diverse group of clients in federal and state court litigation, including a former CEO of a leading international insurance company in a series of regulatory, federal and state securities actions; a Fortune 100 company in a contract dispute relating to a long-term supply agreement; a major recording artist in civil litigation involving fraud claims; a national bank on a series of complex litigation matters involving asset-backed securities and securities lending; and a leading software company on intellectual property matters concerning smartphones. In addition, Ms. Chan has experience in the areas of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Chan was a Jesse M. Unruh Fellow and served as a legislative aide in the California State Assembly for Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-California) and as a community organizer for a civil rights organization.
Ms. Chan currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Fifth Avenue Committee, a community development corporation based in South Brooklyn.
