Evan A. Parke is a trial attorney and represents clients in the finance, insurance and technology sectors. Mr. Parke has experience litigating patents on the following technologies:
- bio-impedance systems (summary judgment of non-infringement);
- abdominal aortic stents (settlement);
- online education technologies (jury verdict of infringement and patent validity);
- mechanical signage (summary judgment of non-infringement);
- motion control systems (settlement);
- computer graphics (settlement);
- dynamic data exchange servers (settlement);
- internet routing products (settlement); and
- hard disk drive technologies (settlement).
Mr. Parke also has counseled clients on patents concerning genetically engineered proteins, contact lenses, coronary stents and skin therapeutics.
Mr. Parke has first-chaired several cases and prevailed in suits claiming false internet advertising (summary judgment of literal falsity) and unfair competition based on the unauthorized use of intellectual property by Web site owners (class certified; judgment and injunctive relief secured). He also was trial counsel in a dispute over contact lens advertising.
In the last few years, Mr. Parke has represented clients in the finance and insurance sectors on fraud, trade secret, employment, interference, contract and antitrust matters.
