James Lee, a partner in the firm's Miami office, focuses on complex commercial matters and high-risk product liability matters.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Lee has served as trial counsel for Philip Morris USA. Currently, he is actively defending Philip Morris USA in Florida actions that are progeny cases from the Florida Supreme Court's decision in Engle v. Liggett Group, Inc., et al., 945 So. 2d 1246 (Fla. 2006). Mr. Lee has also defended high-risk product liability matters for E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. He has successfully litigated cases in both trial and arbitration settings on behalf of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Mr. Lee currently serves as Plaintiffs’ counsel in a class-action MDL against Takata Corporation and several of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers.
