Meredith Schultz’s practice consists of complex commercial litigation on both the federal and state level.
Since joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Ms. Schultz has handled matters ranging from representing a Fortune 500 corporation in an antitrust action to representing the top corporate officers of one of the nation’s largest banks in defense of a non-compete action brought by a Fortune 500 corporation and leading financial holding company. Ms. Schultz has also represented interests of private investment firms in disputes in federal court and in relation to Securities and Exchange Commission inquires. Recently, she participated in the successful defense of a large public company in a class action seeking tens of millions in damages, where the court denied the plaintiff ’s motion for class certification. She has handled trust cases and legal malpractice actions in state and federal court, and is engaged in the firm’s pro bono action on behalf of a class of Florida children on Medicaid, where plaintiffs seek a judgment that the Florida Medicaid program is not in compliance with federal law.
Prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Ms. Schultz worked as a litigation associate for a leading Florida law firm and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donald M. Middlebrooks
