Rory Skaggs' practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Mr. Skaggs has litigated cases and advised clients in a wide variety of areas, including contract disputes, business torts, antitrust, administrative law, regulatory compliance, and trade secrets.
Mr. Skaggs' recent experience includes:
- Defending a Fortune 100 company in litigation against alleged trade secrets misappropriation, breach of contract, and other business tort claims;
- Defending a major airline in federal antitrust class action lawsuits concerning network capacity and airfare;
- Defending a large banking and financial services company in litigation against breach of contract claims;
- Seeking damages against a foreign government in international arbitration under the North American Free Trade Agreement on behalf of a private company.
Additionally, Mr. Skaggs shares in the firm's commitment to pro bono legal services, and has represented a client in a landlord/tenant dispute.
