Demetri Blaisdell’s main practice areas are complex commercial litigation and appellate litigation. Mr. Blaisdell’s recent representations include:
- Representing the Kurdistan Regional Government in a dispute with the Ministry of Oil regarding the right to extract and sell oil from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq;
- Defending a major bank client in an arbitration concerning allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets and an unrelated legal dispute over attorney's fees.
- Assisting a team representing a citizens action group opposing the proposed construction of a sports arena on an unsuitable site.
During law school, Mr. Blaisdell coordinated a team of volunteers working on the refugee application for a client in Baghdad, Iraq.
