Mr. Padmanabhan has successfully represented companies in high-stakes intellectual property matters involving electronics, software and wireless patents. Recent cases have included defending a large multinational consumer electronics corporation against allegations of infringing wireless standards-essential patents in the International Trade Commission, defending a semiconductor chip maker against allegations of infringing wireless communications patents, and advising a technology client regarding the risk of litigation based on the strength of a competitor's patent portfolio.
Before pursuing his legal education, Mr. Padmanabhan was a technical officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he worked as a project lead for a web-based credit card management system. He was responsible for software design and managing implementation teams. Mr. Padmanabhan also previously worked at Deloitte Consulting LLP, as a systems analyst.
