Sebastian Swett’s main practice areas are complex commercial litigation and regulatory enforcement actions. His recent matters include:
- Serving as an examiner for a state insurance regulator in the investigation of a multi-billion dollar investment made by a group of insurance companies;
- Successfully defending a defamation claim brought against a non-profit advocacy group;
- Representing an airline company in a contract dispute;
- Representing the founder of a multi-billion dollar beverage company in a series of disputes with the company’s co-founder.
During law school, Mr. Swett represented Iraqi refugees seeking resettlement in the United States. He maintains an active pro bono practice relating to immigration matters.
