Mr. Dameron's primary practice area is commercial litigation.
In the past year, he assisted in the firm’s representation of a whistleblower against a national guardrail manufacturer who violated the False Claims Act by secretly changing their product, making it more dangerous, without informing the Federal Highway Administration. The case resulted in a jury verdict for damages totaling $175 million, the largest verdict in a False Claims case in which the government chose not to participate.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dameron worked at legal services organizations in Baltimore, Maryland and the District of Columbia representing low income homeowners in mortgage and tax foreclosure cases.
