Daniel Schwartz is a litigator who focuses on complex commercial litigation, governmental investigations, and white collar defense.  Since joining the firm in 2015, Mr. Schwartz has represented clients in state and federal court in matters involving first amendment, complex contractual disputes, securities law, employment law, and governmental investigations.  Recent representations include:

  • Defending an outside director of a Fortune 100 company in multiple securities actions
  • Representing individual clients in investigations brought by the SEC and DOJ
  • Advising a major private equity company in a highly publicized employment dispute
  • Representing an energy company in a JAMS arbitration concerning the distribution of profits from one of the largest wind farms in the United States

While studying at NYU Law, Mr. Schwartz served as a Research and Teaching Assistant to Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law Richard A. Epstein, and as an extern in both the civil and criminal divisions of the Department of Justice in the Eastern District of New York, where he participated in securities investigations and aided in the preparation of multiple criminal trials.
