Stephanie Matalon’s main practice area is Matrimonial and Family Law where she works on complex matrimonial actions including paternity, divorce, domestic violence, the negotiation of premarital and postnuptial agreements, and child custody matters.
Ms. Matalon earned her B.A. in 2006 from the University of Miami and her Juris Doctorate from the Florida International University School of Law in 2009. During law school, Ms. Matalon participated as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Lester Langer of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. She was also a Certified Legal Intern with the Juvenile Justice Clinic where she represented juveniles in delinquency and dependency matters.
Prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Ms. Matalon was the supervising attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program where she represented the best interest of children in child abuse, egregious abuse and complex termination of parental rights cases from inception of the case through to trial. Ms. Matalon also supervised a staff of over ten attorneys and oversaw all of the legal issues involving the Program in the Seventeenth Circuit.
