Travis Robert-Ritter’s main area of practice is complex commercial litigation. Over the course of his career he has worked on, among other matters, numerous issues of first impression, a securities case before the U.S. Supreme Court, and four trials where damage exposure was well in excess of a hundred million dollars. His practice at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP has included:
- Prosecution of multi-million dollar claim against an employee staffing services company
- Investigation of potential multi-million dollar claim against a bank
- Defense of multi-national corporation in a trademark dispute
- Prosecution of former executive’s rights in an employment dispute
- Defense of major international law firm in legal malpractice matters
Prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Travis was an associate at an international law firm where he defended corporations in complex civil litigation.
Before entering private practice he served as a staff attorney to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He was also a frequent guest lecturer for a University of Miami School of Law trial advocacy course and a coach for the University of Miami Trial Team.
Travis attended the University of Miami School of Law where he was the Executive Editor of the Inter-American Law Review. While a member of the University of Miami Trial Team he placed in multiple national and state trial competitions.
