BS&F Elects Three New Partners at Annual Firm Meeting

Winter 2010

Richard Weill (Armonk)—Weill has been involved in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation with emphasis on appellate practice and class actions. Before joining the Firm, Weill served as the Chief Assistant District Attorney of Westchester County, New York, after heading that office’s Appeals Division since 1987.  He graduated from the Boston University School of Law in 1979, and received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1976.

Paul Lal (Las Vegas)— Lal is a member of the Firm’s corporate group, concentrating his practice on commercial transactions and business advisory work. Lal earned his J.D. from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1989.  He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from San Francisco State University in 1986.

Douglass Mitchell (Las Vegas)— Mitchell is involved in commercial and criminal litigation.  He graduated from the J. Rueben Clark Law School, cum laude, in 1989.  He received a B.A., cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 1986.  After law school, Mitchell served as law clerk for the Hon. Lloyd D. George, United States District Court for the District of Nevada from 1989-90.
