Dawn Smalls, a lawyer with experience across law, government, politics, and philanthropy, returned to the Firm as a partner in New York. International disputes attorney Kenneth Beale joined as a partner in London. Hampton Dellinger, Ian Dumain, John LaSalle, Michael Mitchell, Beko Reblitz-Richardson, Shani Rivaux, Josh Schiller, and Bill Ward were promoted to partner in January. Lisa Barclay, former Chief of Staff of the Food and Drug Administration, Stacey Grigsby, former Counsel to the Associate Attorney General, and Joshua Riley, former General Counsel to Senator Al Franken, joined the Firm as Counsel in the Washington, D.C., office. Heather King, a partner in Washington, left to become General Counsel at the Firm’s client Theranos. Lee Wolosky, a partner in New York, was appointed Special Envoy for Guantanamo Closure at the U.S. State Department.
