Manufacturers of Viatamin C and Mineral Used In Steel Are Cited In U.S. Civil Suits

As Chinese pharmaceutical firms emerge as the largest producers of Vitamin C, mounting evidence of price-fixing has led American courts to claim international jurisdiction and investigate antitrust claims and the harm to U.S. consumers. To date, about a half a dozen civil antitrust suits have been filed against Chinese vitamin C manufacturers in various U.S. court. Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, who is one of the firms that earlier won settlements of $1.2 billion for U.S. business overcharged by the European vitamen cartel, is one of the firms that filed cases against Chinese vitamin C makers.Related Lawyer: William A.
