BSF Providing Ongoing Aid to People of Haiti

In response to the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti in January 2010, BSF associate Markenzy Lapointe has worked tirelessly in all facets of the relief. As part of the Haiti Relief Task Force, Lapointe has met with state and federal officials, including Vice President Joe Biden to discuss response and long term prospects. He recently reunited an infant rescued from under the rubble, known as “Baby Jenny,” back with her parents after she was treated for severe injuries in a Miami hospital, and continues to provide pro bono legal aid to families in similar situations.
