Richard Prince Retains BSF for Appeal in Closely Watched Copyright Suit

05.22.2012

Contemporary photographer and painter Richard Prince called upon Josh Schiller to put together a team from BSF to pursue an appeal of an important ruling in federal court. Prince faces copyright infringement liability as well as ongoing claims related to the damages and injunctive relief resulting from the decision. The three-judge appellate panel heard arguments on May 21, 2012, following the denial of opposing counsel's motion to dismiss the case in September of last year.
