Partner Ian Dumain honored by Innocence Project

Boies, Schiller & Flexner Partner Ian Dumain received an Advocate for Justice Award from the Innocence Project on October 22, 2015. Ian was a member of the Innocence Project from 2002 through 2004, and he has been deeply involved as a pro bono attorney for over a decade. His work has included representing—along with Boies, Schiller & Flexner Chairman David Boies and partner Chris Green—an Alabama death row inmate in his fight for DNA testing. And since 2007, Ian has represented a New Hampshire inmate in federal and state court in his fights for DNA testing and, later, a new trial. The Innocence Project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating innocent people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. Since 1989, 330 people have been exonerated, including 20 who served time on death row.
