Partner Bill Isaacson was named a Litigator of the Year by The American Lawyer. “Whether defending against antitrust class actions or bringing them, William ‘Bill’ Isaacson of Boies, Schiller & Flexner is an opponent to be reckoned with,” the American Lawyer wrote. It recognized his work for purchasers of polyurethane foam, who won $433 million in settlements from manufacturers; his trial victory for the defense in a case for a major player in the digital music industry, which he achieved with co-counsel Karen Dunn; and his trial work in a historic victory for college athletes challenging the NCAA’s amateurism rules.
