Erica is an associate in the New York office who represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation and government investigations. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal court and has advised clients in investigations by the Department of Justice. She joined the firm following a clerkship in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Erica graduated from Howard Law School, where she served as Executive Publications Editor of the Howard Law Journal and won the title of “Best Oralist” in the Charles Hamilton Houston Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Erica also interned in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Erica's recent experience includes:

  • Representing a major international bank in connection with an investigation of its mortgage-backed securities business
  • Representing plaintiffs in a dispute against former employees in an employment contract dispute
  • Representing a major technology company in global investigation by the Department of Justice
  • Representing plaintiff in suit for defamation
  • Preparing amicus brief in support of transgender woman incarcerated in male prison
