George's main areas of focus include securities law, private investment funds, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and business advisory work.

He advises leading funds and investment managers in a broad range of their legal work, including sponsorship/seeding arrangements, establishment of new managers, regulatory and compliance, and investment transactions. Representative investment fund clients of the firm's corporate group include Tudor Investment Corporation, Goldman Sachs (affiliated funds), and New China Capital Management.

George also has represented clients in a broad range of corporate matters in the corporate finance area. His work includes SEC-registered initial and secondary public offerings, Rule 144A/Regulation S placements, privatizations, private placements, investment grade and high-yield debt, and equity-linked debt instruments.

In the mergers and acquisitions area, George’s experience includes buy-side and sell-side representation as well as competitive and non-competitive processes. He has extensive experience in cross-border transactions, having advised clients on corporate financing transactions by foreign issuers, significant cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and foreign direct investment transactions.
