A results-driven litigator, Sarah represents clients in critical commercial disputes, defamation, and class action matters.

She began her career at BSF representing plaintiffs. Notably, she contributed to the landmark $2.7 billion antitrust settlement against Blue Cross Blue Shield. She also represented direct action plaintiffs in antitrust class actions. 
 
Sarah currently represents defendant clients in California and Texas. She has achieved favorable results for class action defendants in California district courts and has successfully advised clients in state investigations.
 
Sarah joined the firm's D.C. office after a federal district court clerkship. She returned to her native Southern California in 2022. Prior to law school, Sarah worked on jury trial and other case preparation for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
 
Sarah actively contributes to the firm's culture as associate co-chair of the Women’s Affinity Group.

  • Defended a California company in a purported class action in N.D. Cal.
  • Defending a nonprofit in a defamation suit brought in E.D. Texas
  • Defending an insurer in a breach of contract dispute in N.D. Texas
  • Defended a top 100 law firm in a malpractice action in Florida

Representing Plaintiffs:

  • Represented direct action plaintiffs in multiple antitrust class actions
  • Represented plaintiffs in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust class action settlement
  • Represented a regional sports network in bringing an antitrust action

California Special Proceedings:

  • Representing an insurance company in suits and appellate filings related to a California state conservation proceeding

  • Advised a client in FTC, California DOJ, and other state attorney general investigations
  • Oversaw discovery in a DOJ fraud investigation
