Valentina Susanna Gava

Valentina’s practice focuses on assisting local and foreign businesses on corporate and commercial issues. She advises clients on a variety of matters, including contracts, intellectual property, art law, real estate, and civil liability.

Valentina has substantial experience assisting in the relocation of Italian companies abroad and of foreign companies in Italy. She also advises clients on the process of opening local (Italian) subsidiaries of foreign companies and foreign subsidiaries of Italian companies, and with regard to any other form of investment or business cooperation in Italy and abroad. She assists in devising and implementing transactions aimed at rationalizing the management of wealth and relevant inter-generational transfers.

While attending her LL.M. in International and Comparative Law, she has practiced as a mediator in the County of Los Angeles.

Valentina’s experience includes:

• Assisting a seller in a complex divestiture procedure to be performed in various steps over a substantial period of time
• Assisting in the purchase of a foreign company holding a noteworthy real estate asset located in Italy
• Drafting of new contractual standards for a large multinational company covering all aspects of its business
• Assisting in the setting up of a number of foreign subsidiaries of an Italian company
• Assisting a client in the relocation of private and business interests to Italy
