Genesco v. Finish Line et al.
Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP and its client Genesco are listed in The American Lawyer's "Big Suits" column published March 2008. Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle of the Tennessee Chancery Court granted a complete victory in the case rejecting any suggestion that Genesco or its advisors committed fraud, held that Genesco's second and third quarter performance does not give Finish Line or UBS grounds to terminate the agreement to purchase Genesco.
