Boies Schiller Flexner has nominated partner James Lee as its 2020 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow, and associate Laselve Harrison as an LCLD Pathfinders.
Launched in 2011, the LCLD Fellows Program identifies high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds and sets them on the path to leadership of their organizations.
The LCLD Pathfinder Program provides high-potential, early-career attorneys with career skills including relationship building, and foundational leadership skills.
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
Boies Schiller Flexner is committed to diversity and inclusion at the firm, in the legal profession, and in society as a whole. In 2019 the firm signed on to the Mansfield Rule 3.0 certification process. The Mansfield Rule measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, lawyers of color, lawyers with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ lawyers (“historically underrepresented lawyers”) for significant leadership roles and activities in the firm.
