Boies Schiller Flexner LLP announced today that Nicola Bonante has joined the Milan office as partner, focusing on employment law. Alongside him, three professionals join BSF from a leading U.S. law firm: counsel Tiziana de Virgilio and associates Noemi Cauzzo and Daniele Demelio.
Nicola Bonante has extensive experience in key areas of employment law and industrial relations, including management incentive plans — such as stock options, management by objectives (known as MBOs) and long-term incentive plans — compensation & benefits policies, and corporate reorganization and restructuring processes, including in cross-border contexts. He regularly advises Italian and multinational companies, as well as private equity funds, on employment law aspects related to extraordinary transactions.
He is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), and Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani (AGI). He joins Boies Schiller Flexner from a leading Italian law firm.

The arrival of Nicola Bonante represents another step in the growth of Boies Schiller Flexner LLP in Italy, which began in December 2021 with the objective of establishing a European platform with the ability to advise local and international clients across litigation and arbitration, corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, international taxation, and private client services, including multinational companies and HNWIs with interests in Italy and Europe.
In January 2026, BSF further strengthened its team with the addition of Gianluca Faella, who focuses primarily on competition and regulatory matters at both the Italian and European level, as well as on cross-border antitrust litigation.
