Reporting that in an antritrust lawsuit against competitor Qualcomm, the market leader in mobile phone chip technology, chipmaker Broadcom "pulled out the big legal guns," engaging Boies, Schiller & Flexner lead the case alleging patent infringement and fair-trade complaints. Broadcom asserts that Qualcomm’s licensing policies block rivals from selling competitive chipsets resulting in a higher cost of mobile phones in the U.S.
