BSF Achieves $33 Million Settlement on Behalf of Class in Antitrust and Patent Case Concerning DNA Amplification

BSF served as co-lead counsel for the Class Plaintiffs in an antitrust and patent case involving purchases of Taq DNA polymerase, an enzyme used to replicate DNA.  The case was prosecuted against Defendants Hoffmann-La Roche and Applera Corporation.  A $33 million settlement was granted final approval in December 2008.
