Boies Schiller Flexner partner Scott Gant is quoted by Reuters in an article discussing the combination of two big chicken processors – Sanderson Farms and Wayne Farms. Scott, who represents several clients including food distributors Sysco and US Foods in a lawsuit alleging chicken price fixing against Sanderson and others, shared that he thought approval of the proposed transaction would be “an uphill battle.”
