Founded by Stephen N Zack
Boies, Schiller & Flexner partner and ABA President Stephen N. Zack established the Task Force on Preservation of the Justice System as one of his four core initiatives for the 2010-2011 year. The Task Force is co-chaired by BSF Chairman David Boies and attorney Theodore B. Olson.
The Task Force held its first public hearing on February 9, 2011, the opening day of the ABA Midyear Meeting in Atlanta. Issues discussed at the hearing included: the severe underfunding of our justice system, depletion of resources, and the struggle for the nation's courts to provide access to justice for all Americans.
