Anita is an experienced trial attorney who focuses on intellectual property litigation. A native Texan, Anita frequently represents clients across Texas and possesses substantial experience in patent litigation and various other civil litigation matters, including investigations and litigation arising out of insolvency matters and First Amendment disputes.

With a background in biomedical engineering, Anita handles cases involving an array of technologies and represents both patent owners and accused infringers in federal district courts nationwide and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Anita’s skills extends to prosecuting patent and trademark applications, as well as devising strategies to protect clients’ IP both domestically and internationally. 
 
Additionally, Anita is passionate about pro bono work and has successfully secured asylum for clients as lead counsel in immigration hearings before the U.S. Immigration Court.

  • Serving as trial counsel for telecommunications company in a patent infringement action against multiple defendant cable companies relating to Voice over Internet Protocol telecommunications technology
  • Serving as trial counsel for accused infringer in a patent case relating to children’s car seat technology
  • Serving as trial counsel for major gaming company in a patent infringement action involving networking technology
  • Representing patent owner in multiple litigations involving screen sharing technology
