J.P. delivers practical, strategic solutions for clients in appellate, complex litigation, and regulatory matters. He has successfully guided clients through every stage of litigation — from early case assessment to resolution — in state and federal courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
J.P. has represented health care organizations, life sciences companies, and financial institutions in high-stakes disputes, including managed care litigation, False Claims Act actions, and products liability cases.
Prior to joining the firm, J.P. served as a law clerk to the Hon. Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Hon. Darrin P. Gayles of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
J.P. serves as the chair of the Professional Development Committee and is an Eleventh Circuit representative of the National Board of the Younger Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association. Before attending law school, he was a Teach for America corps member in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
