Kalind practices complex civil litigation in federal and state courts, representing clients in class actions, commercial disputes, and civil rights matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Kalind practiced civil rights and public impact litigation before clerking for the Hon. Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Kalind utilizes this background and his training in quantitative analysis to serve clients in class actions and complex commercial disputes. He has published peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Public Opinion Quarterly, American Journal of Preventative Medicine, and Policy & Politics.
