Mariah practices high-stakes commercial litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendants across industries in both state and federal courts. She has diverse experience in both trial and appellate litigation, including commercial disputes, copyright infringement, employment discrimination, and antitrust. Mariah has also argued multiple times before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mariah’s appellate experience includes litigating complex procedural issues, statutory interpretation issues of first impression, and application of employment law across multiple states and localities. She also has experience with complex commercial disputes between reinsurers, insurance companies, and insurance regulators. Mariah has litigated a variety of commercial disputes across industries including contract disputes, copyright and trademark infringement, and employment disputes and has represented plaintiffs in sexual abuse and misconduct suits against companies and institutions.
Mariah serves as the vice president of the Marin County Women Lawyers and as an affiliate governor of the California Women Lawyers. She has also served as the chair of BSF’s Associates’ Committee and leads BSF San Francisco’s team in the annual Champions of Diversity fundraiser for the Bay Area Urban Debate League.
